    Position: Associate Project Manager

    SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the work of assigned professional, technical and clerical employees in the planning, design, and/or management of construction of complex, multi-disciplined PWSA Capital and Operations projects. Reviews and directs the work performed by consultants; supervises and directs the design and/or management of construction of Capital or Operations related projects involving the water, storm, and sewer systems or water treatment and pumping facilities. Seeking experienced candidates with design or construction focus.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: To be considered eligible for this position, the application must clearly show a minimum total of four (4) years of engineering experience with two (2) years as a design and/or resident engineer on construction projects.  Water/wastewater experience is preferred, Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related civil engineering field.  Professional Engineering EIT Certificate is preferred.


    Position: Administrative Assistant

    SUMMARY: Provide administrative support and office management for the Department of Engineering & Construction by preparing reports, handling information requests, tracking and processing purchase orders and invoices, and maintaining staff requests. The Administrator also performs essential functions such as preparing (writing/editing) correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: To be considered eligible for this position, the applicant must clearly show five years of progressive assistant experience, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required; a minimum of five years of related experience (in public/government office preferred); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, board members and public officials, as well as outside customers (of all levels) and vendors.  Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.


    Position: Project Manager

    SUMMARY: Responsible for Planning, coordinating, and directing the work of assigned professional, technical and clerical employees in the planning, design, and/or management of construction of complex, multi-disciplined PWSA Capital and urgent facility repair projects. Reviews and directs the work performed by consultants; supervises and directs the design and/or management of construction of Capital or Operations related projects involving the water and sewer system or water treatment and pumping facilities.  Seeking experienced candidates with Design or Construction focus. Experience managing projects greater than $2.5 Million is required.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: To be considered eligible for this position, the application must clearly show a minimum total of seven (7) years of professional engineering experience with four years’ experience as a design and/or resident engineer on major construction projects under the supervision of a Licensed PE.  Water/wastewater experience is preferred, Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related civil engineering field.  Professional Engineering EIT Certificate is preferred, a (P.E.) License in the state of Pennsylvania desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Position: Project Manager-Production

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Manager – Production will lead our Construction and Maintenance Projects and support services for Operations-Water Production.  Reporting to the Sr Manager - Production, assists in the coordination, organization, and management of facilities equipment maintenance and facilities repair, and the construction of complex, multi-disciplined PWSA Capital projects; provides professional advice and detailed recommendations in the development of the approved Capital Improvement, Special Projects and Maintenance Programs with a primary focus on the Microfiltration Plant.


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: To be considered eligible for this position, a bachelor’s degree is ideal.  However equivalent work experience in related field will be accepted.  Advanced degree is preferred. In Addition, the applicant must clearly show a total of seven years of experience with at least four years of management experience.  Water/waste water experience preferred.
