Outreach
The ASCE Pittsburgh Outreach Committee is a joint effort between the Section and YMF memberships to introduce students to the field of civil engineering and encourage them to consider it as a career option.
The goal of the outreach committee is to revitalize and increase the participation of Section members in K-12 events and activities to promote civil engineering as a career in the next three years. Read more about this goal here.
Annual training is held to introduce members to the presentation resources available.

The theme for this year is 'Above the Current', designing a floating city. The teams are hard at work getting ready. Our regional in person competition will be held in January of 2025, details are being finalized and will be released soon.
Registration is open for judges, volunteers and mentors and can be found here.
