Board Certifications
ASCE has created Civil Engineering Certification, Inc. to provide a mechanism for professional post-licensure certification of the various specialties within civil engineering.

The American Academy of Water Resources Engineer’s (AAWRE) mission is to improve the practice, elevate the standards, and advance the water resources profession.
The Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port & Navigation Engineers (ACOPNE) has defined subspecialty fields of expertise consistent with the sub-disciplines contained in COPRI that are Coastal, Ocean, Port, and Navigation Engineering.
The Academy of Geo-Professionals (AGP) offers the Diplomate, Geotechnical Engineering (D.GE), the first voluntary, post-license credential to provide professional engineers an opportunity to gain further recognition in the field of geotechnical engineering.
