Student Awards Foundation
The Student Awards Foundation (SAF) was founded by the members of the Pittsburgh Section to encourage students to pursue Civil Engineering as a profession. Its sole responsibility is to recognize the future leaders of the profession and introduce them to the benefits of membership in ASCE.
The SAF is pleased to offer the annual American Bridge Leadership Award of $5000 minimum, and the Ody Makin Achievement Award of $1250 minimum, to a student ASCE member studying civil engineering. Full qualifications and application requirements can be found at the bottom of the Awards Page.
