ASCE Memberships are handled by Society-level ASCE, including Pittsburgh Section affiliations. The Pittsburgh Section is able to check your membership status and profile information based on the Society-level database, but all changes must be made through the global organization.
Members or non-members, here are the steps to join/renew your Society-level ASCE membership. You must be a member of ASCE National to join ASCE Pittsburgh Section as a "member" level.
Remember to pay your Section Dues to support your Pittsburgh Section. Section dues serve the members by directly supporting local activities such as our newsletter, various events and our multimedia capabilities. Active participation in local programs will enhance your career and our local civil engineering community. If you are not currently a subscribing member of the Pittsburgh Section please consider supporting us now.
To renew or to pay dues for the local section, go to www.asce.org and click the Join/Renew button at the top of the page.
NOTE: Once you are logged in to ASCE at Society-level, you must select the Section drop down that says "Pittsburgh Sec Dues." Pittsburgh Section Dues are $40 per year. The Pittsburgh Section Dues amount is set and voted on by the Pittsburgh Section Board.

Go to http://www.asce.org/join/ and fill out the application.

Once you have registered and paid your ASCE Pittsburgh Section Dues, you will receive access to ASCE Pittsburgh's local web site at a "member" level which includes a member directory, forum, event discounts and more.
