HRV, Inc. specializes in the oversight of Quality Practices related to construction, manufacturing, fabrication, and production. Providing services globally, HRV is a quality assurance/quality control inspection, construction management, and consulting firm. Our services span multiple services line in numerous markets including bridge and highway, rail and transit, oil and gas, water and wastewater, commercial, and power.
We are currently seeking to add a technical Project Manager to our Steel Services team. This individual will have a multitude of responsibilities relating to the provision of structural steel fabrication inspection services.
Will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate and manage requests for inspection
- Manage client relationships and requests
- Maintain project schedules
- Manage project budget
- Contract administration
- Assign work
- Oversee inspector performance
- Review/Approve reports
- RFP/Proposal creation
- Perform technical reviews and quality inspections
Qualifications and Skills:
- Exhibits HRV core values through communication, exemplary client service, proactive work ethic, timeliness, quality, and fosters great internal and external client relationships
- Entrepreneurial outlook
- Quality-minded and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & able to learn new software/systems
Education/Background:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Inspection, Structural Steel Fabrication, Bridge/Highway Engineering and Construction, and/or an acceptable related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Welding Engineering or a related field of study
- PE License preferred but not required
- AWS CWI certification a plus
- OR an equivalent combination of experience and education
