The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Environmental Engineering Trainee with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in Crawford County. As a key member of the DEP team, you will play an integral role in protecting Pennsylvania’s water resources.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate in a one-year structured training program guided by experienced professionals.
- Conduct technical analysis to ensure that applications meet the objectives of the Clean Water Program.
- Develop your engineering skills while contributing to environmental protection efforts that benefit local communities.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, OR in any engineering field that includes or is supplemented by 9 credits in environmental engineering.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
