DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Environmental Engineering Trainee will have the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive 12-month training program, where they will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill the role of an Environmental Engineering Specialist. This position focuses on providing engineering support in the realm of environmental engineering, specifically in relation to the implementation of the Oil and Gas Act, Dam Safety and Encroachments Act, Clean Streams Law, and Solid Waste Management Act. The trainee will be actively involved in conducting engineering tasks related to hydrology and hydraulics, ensuring that structures meet the Department's Rules and Regulations through detailed review, analysis, and report preparation.
During the 12-month training period, the Environmental Engineering Trainee will be immersed in a comprehensive program aimed at equipping them with the expertise required to excel as an Environmental Engineering Specialist. This role primarily involves working within the field of environmental engineering, with a specific focus on the regulations outlined in the Oil and Gas Act, Dam Safety and Encroachments Act, Clean Streams Law, and Solid Waste Management Act.
