    What You'll Do:

    As a Geotechnical Assistant Staff Project Manager, you are a natural leader with a strong work ethic. Although you do not have much past experience in geotechnical consulting, you are able to quickly learn the ropes. You may, however, have experience in performing boring layouts, classifying soils, performing lab tests, and geophysical surveys – which is what drew you to this field. You have great communication skills and are easily able to interact with your team.      You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in: 

    • Performing boring layouts and utility clearances
    • Performing geophysical surveys
    • Classifying soils and assigning lab testing
    • Geotechnical design and analysis
    • Report and proposal preparation and review
    • Budgeting daily and ongoing activities as well as invoicing
    • Marketing including daily on-going client interaction and development of a client database
    • Ability to interact with other staff members on various geotechnical projects

    What We're Looking For:

    • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university; MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred, other similar engineering degrees considered if program is ABET accredited.
    • 0-2 years of related experience
    • Engineer in Training (EIT) license would go a long way
