    Pittsburgh Office: Structural Engineer/Bridge Inspector, Transportation Construction Inspector and Utility Construction Inspector

    Structural Engineer/Bridge InspectorThis position is responsible for performing bridge inspection and/or engineering tasks in the structural engineering field through application of relevant and established design criteria, standards, and processes. This position requires the ability to work with a team on multiple bridge inspection and/or structural engineering projects at various stages.

    Years of Experience: Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the bridge inspection and/or structural engineering field or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Education: BA or BS Degree required
    Degree or Formal Training: Civil Engineering or a related discipline
    License, Certificate or Registration: EIT/FE and CBSI required, and a PE desired

    Transportation Construction InspectorThis position is responsible for performing roadway and bridge construction inspection and monitoring contractor progress with respect to contract requirements, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. This position requires the ability to work with a team, as well as independently, on various types of inspection projects at various stages. Position open within PennDOt D-12 and PennDOT D-10.

    Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the construction inspection field or equivalent combination of education and experience (experience on PennDOT, PA Turnpike, Municipal, and/or water line/sewer lines desired)
    Education: High School Diploma required, and AS or BS Degrees desired
    Degree or Formal Training: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
    License, Certificate or Registration: Having any of the following are desired: EIT/FE, PE, NICET Highway Construction, NECEPT, PennDOT Concrete/ACI, CDS NextGen, KAHUA, SSPC-C3, NACE Coating Inspector (Levels 1, 2, or 3), NASSCO (PACP, MACP, LACP, or ITCP), Nuclear Densometer (Nuke Gage)

    Utility Construction InspectorThis position is responsible for performing utility construction inspection and monitoring contractor progress with respect to contract requirements, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. This position requires the ability to work with a team, as well as independently, on various types of inspection projects at various stages.

    Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the materials testing, construction inspection, or utility industry field or equivalent combination of education and experience (experience on PennDOT or other DOT’s, PA Turnpike, Municipal, and/or water line/sewer lines desired)
    Education: High School Diploma required
    Degree or Formal Training: N/A
    License, Certificate or Registration: Having any of the following are desired: EIT/FE, PE, NICET Highway Construction or Construction Materials Testing (Asphalt/Concrete/Soils), NECEPT, Concrete/ACI Field Testing, NASSCO (PACP, MACP, LACP, or ITCP), Nuclear Densometer (Nuke Gage)
