Since its inception, this event has been more than just a career fair. We have always informed potential employers that this event has many purposes:

 To allow younger students to research fields and careers within civil engineering and construction

 To allow students to network with recruiters, as well as other students and alumni

 To allow students to practice interpersonal communication skills, especially underclassmen

 To encourage students to develop and refine their resumes

 To provide opportunities for internships and permanent positions
