PA 1 CALL REGULATIONS AND HOW THEY AFFECT ENGINEERS/DESIGNERS
Across the United States, directly under our feet, lie miles and miles of various utility lines, some in use, some not in use, and even some unknown. To most of the population it is a case of out of sight-out of mind, but for those of us in engineering and construction industry it is an ever-growing issue we run into on just about every project. And, with consequences of damaging a utility ranging from a mere inconvenience to either a mass catastrophe or death, it is important we all know how to work in the safest and most responsible manner.
So, please join us on for a webinar on Thursday January 14, 2021 from 12:00pm-1:00pm to hear an overview of the PA 1 call law and the responsibility of each stakeholder involved in the project.
Leading us in the discussion will be Armando Ferri, General Manager for Stefanik’s Next Generation Contracting Company. He is a graduate from Penn State University holding two engineering degrees. Armando has worked in the construction industry over 30 years and represents the damage prevention community on several boards and committees such as PA 1 Call, Public Utility Commission’s DPC Committee, Common Ground Alliance, and NUCA of Pennsylvania. One of his main objectives is to help educate all stakeholders in understanding the 1 Call Law and how to be in compliance.
This FREE Event will provide 1 PDH to all attendees
**Link to the MS Teams meeting will be included in the registration confirmation email as well as in the reminder email sent out a day before the event**
