Do you ever wonder where to draw the line or how to respond to poor business practices?
Well, if so, then you’ve found the right seminar geared toward helping answer your questions! This event involves presentations and discussions on the ethical principles upheld in the Surveying and Engineering communities. It will include a description from the licensure’s perspective of ethical obligations as well as tactics and strategies for individual contract negotiators. Furthermore, the role of ethics in marketing and best practices for supplier diversity will be explored.
David Widmer, PLS, M. ASCE, President of Widmer Engineering Inc, holds his BS from Geneva College and is the Immediate Past President of NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying). In the 95 year history of NCEES, he is the first individual from Pennsylvania and the third professional surveyor to hold the position of President.
Attorney, Daniel Garcia, Esq. is an associate in the Energy, Construction, and Government Relations Practice Group in Leech Tishman’s Pittsburgh Office. He has extensive experience with oil and gas midstream economic and development programs as well as pipeline safety and compliance programs. Prior to joining Leech Tishman, he served as the Business Development Director with Bowman Consulting.
