Volunteers are needed to help The Northside Coalition for Fair Housing (NCFH) to build a playground in Cal- Kirkbride neighborhood. Play is critical to a child’s ability to grow into a productive adult. We need more than 100 volunteers to help us give all youth the childhood they deserve!
We need YOU to help BUILD a PLAYGROUND!
Join the NCFH for three exciting volunteer days! 

PREP DAY 1 
Tuesday, October 14, 2014
8 AM - 5 PM
908 California Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15212

- 30 volunteers needed
- Breakfast and lunch provided
- Prepare the site for playground Build Day (unpack equipment, organize supplies, cut lumber, etc)
- Train team captains for Build Day
- Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes

PREP DAY 2
Wednesday, October 15, 2014
Time Will Be Determined depending on how much we get done on Prep Day 1

BUILD DAY 
Thursday, October 16, 2014
7:45 AM – 3:30 PM

- 100 volunteers needed!
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks, & drinks provided
- Volunteers age 18+ will assemble playground pieces, mix concrete, move mulch, etc.
- Volunteers under age 18 can help with other activities
- Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes
