April YMF General Body Meeting - Meet the Institutes

The last GBM of the 2025-26 program year is a special one! We are teaming up with all of the Technical Institutes (SEI, GI, EWRI, T&DI, and UESI) in the Pittsburgh Section to hold a joint meeting meet and greet! Come and mingle with engineers of all disciplines and learn about what each of our wonderful institutes do! Join us for an evening of networking, technical exploration, and to wrap up our last regularly scheduled meeting of the year!

Advanced Soil Improvement & Ground Modification Techniques

Description:

This course provides a comprehensive overview of soil improvement technologies used to address problematic soil conditions where traditional approaches or "remove and replace" strategies are not economically or technically feasible. Participants will explore the engineering principles, design considerations, and construction methodologies for a variety of techniques including densification, soil reinforcement, and consolidation. This course will focus on theory as well as case studies.
