1 PDH Dinner Seminar

6-7 PM:  Dinner

7-8 PM: Presentation

Speaker Gerry A Ludwig, PE

Gerry loved his experience at Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority (PWSA) as the Interim Director of Engineering and Construction.  Coming from 30 years of outside consulting where he was constantly trying to win work from owners like PWSA, to actually being the Owner and contracting out work to other consultants like himself, was very enlightening.  For those two years, Gerry was on the other side of the table.  Consultants were marketing him.  He has shared his” Owners” experience with outside consulting firms and other professional associations.

Gerry will present like an Owner….but he will tell you things that an Owner will never tell you…and he knows exactly the type of insider information that a consulting engineer is seeking, if wanting to do business with that Owner. Gerry has a lot of fun doing these presentations and the audience does too.

This presentation is geared for anybody in the engineering profession, from Engineer to Principal, who wants to be more successful in capturing work from Owners and Clients.  The presentation covers a lot of ground from: RFP development and why they never reveal the true selection factors; to Client personalities and how this affects professional services selections;  to how to prepare for a meeting with the client.
